He asserted that BJP Former Minister ch.Lal Singh in order to regain lost ground is trying to befool people by carrying out Swabhimaan Rallies and making meetings throughout Jammu. He said that basically BJP snatched his ministry due to his support to Rasana village protest and now to show his reach amongst public Lal Singh is trying to catch attention of BJP leadership.
“During his political tenure he remained in Congress for 24 years and he never sang the songs of Dogra Swabhimaan,” he added.
Pankaj Dogra strongly criticized BJP/PDP Govt saying that since the formation of government discrimination with Jammu had increased in each and every issue. He said that whether it is regarding employment, funds distribution, or projects sanctioned for welfare of public are stranded of put on halt deliberately.
Pankaj Dogra said that Former Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad sanctioned five Medical Colleges for J&K, three for Jammu and two for Kashmir. It is the dilly delaying and pessimist thinking of Kashmir centered leadership that the one Medical College sanctioned for Kathua is still in pipeline, and this year also the classes would not start which is severe blow to the future of Kathua youth.
Pankaj Dogra also lamented state government for not giving heed to problems of government employees. He said that Anganwari workers are struggling from last three months as they are getting merger amount of Rupees 3600. He also said that even the PHE daily wagers are watching face of government to get their dues paid, Patwaries are on strike from one month, and even the teaching fraternity is on roads.
“Congress is with the common people and extends full support to struggling employee unions,” he maintained.
Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangthan District President Karan Singh, Block President Ravinder Pal Singh Nitu, Congress Sewa Dal State General Secretary Pawan Sharma, Youth Congress General Secretary Paramjeet Singh, and others were also present on the occasion.
